Terms — Poker Chip Referral Program
Effective date: June 10, 2026. This is a plain-English summary of the Program terms. Final binding terms are those provided in writing at the participating CashMax location.
1. The Program
The CashMax Poker Chip Referral Program (the "Program") is operated by CashMax Texas. The Program rewards individuals who refer new title-loan customers to a participating CashMax location using a numbered CashMax referral chip.
2. Eligibility
Referrers must be 18 years of age or older, a Texas resident, and not a current CashMax employee or an immediate family member of a CashMax employee.
3. How it works
A referrer presents a numbered CashMax chip to a friend, family member, or acquaintance. When that person brings the chip to a participating CashMax location and receives a funded title loan, the referrer is eligible to earn $300. Payouts are made in store after the loan funds and any applicable cancellation window has passed.
4. One payout per funded loan
Only one $300 payout is earned per funded loan. No payout is made for applications that are declined, withdrawn, refinanced, or otherwise not funded.
5. No purchase necessary
You do not need to take out a loan to participate as a referrer. Receiving a loan is not required to refer others, and referring others does not affect the terms of any loan you may have with CashMax.
6. Chip ownership
All physical chips remain the property of CashMax. Lost or damaged chips are not automatically replaced and do not entitle the holder to a payout in the absence of a matching funded-loan record in CashMax systems.
7. Taxes
Referrers who receive $600 or more in total Program payouts in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099-NEC. Referrers are responsible for any taxes owed on Program payouts.
8. Anti-abuse
Self-referrals, fabricated identities, coordinated referral rings, and any other attempt to game the Program will result in forfeiture of all pending and future payouts and may be reported to law enforcement.
9. Changes to the Program
CashMax may modify, suspend, or end the Program at any time and for any reason. Payouts already earned on funded loans at the time of any such change will be honored.
